On December 1, the Legal Guru Club invited more than 10 vice presidents and general counsels of large state-owned, foreign-invested and private enterprises as well as lawyers of well-known law firms to visit Geely Holding Group to explore the mainstay for the success of Geely and to experience the working style of Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant, the production base of Geely GC9.
- Visited Geely Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant
On November 30, Mr. Sun Hong, the vice president of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd., warmly welcomed the guests, had in-depth exchanges and discussions with them, and took group photos together.

On December 1, as accompanied by Chen Aiguo, the general manager of Geely Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant, Gu Min, the director of the legal department of Geely Holding Group, and Zhao Song, the head of the HR department of Geely Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant, Ms Angel Yingjun Wang, the founder of Legal Guru Club and the Chairperson of China International Legal Affairs & Culture Exchange Center, Luo Lifan, the assistant general counsel of Microsoft Corporation and the general manager of legal affairs of Microsoft Asia-Pacific R&D Group, Tan Zhen, the vice president and general counsel of Sony (China) Co., Ltd., Zhang Zikuan, the vice president of Lenovo Group and the general counsel of China Region and Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group, Lu Yue, the legal director of Greater China Region of GE Transportation Group, Shao Li, the board secretary and general counsel of Beijing Capital Co., Ltd.; Zheng Keju, the vice president and general counsel of Golden Arch (China) Co., Ltd., Zhu Lihong, the director of the legal advisory department of PwC China, Dong Ning, the legal director of Byton, Wei Wei, the legal director of Beijing Genomics Institute, Ma Lingjun, the partner of Fangda Partners, and other guests visited the Geely Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant.

Mr. Chen Aiguo, the general manager of Geely Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant, introduced the basic situation of the plant, including the 4 major workshops, stamping, welding, reassembly and final assembly, and the manufacturing status.

The guests experienced the human-machine dialogue function of Geely’s autos and observed the mechanical details of the Geely Boyue and GC9, including the structure details, interior decoration details, engine, etc.

After that, the guests visited the three workshops of stamping, welding and final assembly. The stamping and welding workshops generally were not open to the public, but the company specially opened them to this event. There were few workers in the huge workshops, and the car manufacturing was basically completed by the robotic arms.

- Explored the Legal Team of Geely
After visiting the Chunxiao Manufacturing Plant, the guests moved to the conference room. Ms Gu Min introduced the company strategy, development history, brand technologies, factory layout, design concept, marketing strategy, social welfare and especially the legal team of Geely Holding Group to the guests.

The management and control mode of the legal department of Geely Holding Group is to combine the vertical management of the headquarter and the management of the branches, with the advantages of two-way administrative management, two-way work reporting and two-way evaluation. Later, Ms Gu Min gave a detailed introduction to the structure, training mode and functions & responsibilities of the legal department. Finally, the guests freely exchanged with each other and deeply discussed with Ms Gu on the issues concerned by them.
