On January 12, 2019, the “2019 GC Night” event, jointly organized by LGC and China International Legal Culture Exchange Center, was successfully held in Beijing New World Hotel.

“The event has been known as the year-end party of legal professionals and has been successfully held in Beijing for four years. This year is the fifth one.

This time, we invited Anjie l Law Firm and Dacheng Law Firm as our partners, and the two firms sent nearly 30 partners to attend. They explained major events in the legal circle for the audiences. The attendees unanimously reflected that the event is a model of high-level information sharing and should be organized more often.

The GC Night event is held to provide a high level communication opportunity for heads of legal departments of big companies. In addition to the two law firms sharing at the same time, there is also a general law round table being held. The theme of this round table was: how to build an efficient and stable legal team, and each of the participants was the general member of LGC. Although there were only ten of them, this kind of in-depth, small-scale and sincere communication was exactly what the GCs needed.

The forum was followed by a cocktail party, which was hosted by Ms. Angel Wang Yingjun, the founder of LGC. She firstly thanked the members of LGC and all the friends who have supported LGC for a long time, and also expressed her heartfelt thanks to the speakers from two partners, Dacheng Law Firm and Anjie Law Firm. Mr. Wang Chengjie, Secretary General of China International Trade Arbitration Commission, also appeared at the venue to congratulate the organizers.

Mr. Yang Jin, Vice President of TCL Group and Chairman of PURPLEVINE IP, who is also a senior member of LGC, specially led his team members to come from Shenzhen to attend this event. PURPLEVINE IP, which he founded, is an international high-end IP operation platform.

At the end of the year, some of the GCs were very busy and could not come to the event, so they expressed their regret. The guests made many new friends during the event, and they are very grateful to LGC for organizing such a high-level event. We will continue to provide more good contents and activities for our members.
