David Livdahl is managing partner of the law firm’s Beijing office and a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice. He is located in the Beijing and Shanghai offices. He represents a wide range of European, North American, and Japanese companies in structuring investments in China, as well as providing advice on operational issues and exit strategies.
Mr. Livdahl’s practice includes extensive merger and acquisition work in China and Japan where he has represented numerous industrial companies. He also advises a wide variety of international clients on arbitration and dispute resolution in Asia and North America and has represented a number of clients in international arbitrations at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the ICC, and AAA.
He also focuses on advising non-profit organizations on operating in mainland China.
Prior to joining Pillsbury, Mr. Livdahl was a partner in the Corporate department of another law firm
