Patricia Astorga is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group.

Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Astorga has extensive trial, dispute resolution and counseling experience in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including bankruptcy, business torts, class actions, contracts, employment, product liability, intellectual property and media and white collar criminal defense and government investigations. She represents corporate clients in numerous industries, including insurance, private equity, financial services, banking, transportation, manufacturing and entertainment, in all aspects of litigation across multiple jurisdictions.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Admitted to practice in New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the US Supreme Court, Ms. Astorga received her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School, and her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from New York University.  She served as a law clerk to the Honorable George B. Daniels in the Southern District of New York.  Ms. Astorga is chair of the American Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel and Minority Trial Lawyers Publication Subcommittees, a member of the Federal Bar Council, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of New York, the National Filipino American Lawyers Association and a Steering Committee Member of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York.  Ms. Astorga is also a director of the Filipino American Legal Defense and Education Fund.
