Data Protection
General information about data protection
China International Legal Affairs and Culture Exchange Center (CILACEC) is pleased you have chosen to visit our website and that you are interested in our products and services.
We respect your privacy; compliance with statutory data protection regulations is a matter of course for us. For this reason it is important to us that you know at any time when we save what data.
The information given here and the data regulations at CILACEC do not apply to other partner websites or hyperlinks to campaigns and offers by such partners. Other platforms, which CILACEC uses are not covered by our regulations, please note the respective valid data protection statements there.
Collection, forwarding and use of data
You can use our website essentially without disclosing any personal information.
However, visits to our websites are logged. The information sending by e-mail or via the registration form should essentially be recorded. The IP address currently used by your PC, date and time, browser type, your PC’s operating system and the pages you look at are, in essence, recorded. It is not generally not possible for us to identify individuals and this not our intention either, since this data is only collected for data protection purposes and to optimize our web offering.
General legal information
Naturally you are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time and refuse to allow the processing and use of your personal information with immediate effect.
If you no longer agree to your personal information being stored or if this information is no longer correct, we shall arrange to delete or block your data or make the necessary corrections (provided this is possible in accordance with applicable legislation) following an instruction to this effect. We can provide you with information about any personal data that we have saved that relates to you on request.
If we introduce new products or services, change Internet procedures or if the Internet and EDP security technology develops further, the ‘data protection statement’ will be updated. We therefore reserve the right to change or add to the statement as required. We will provide notification of any changes made here. You should therefore visit this website regularly in order to consult the latest version of the data protection statement.
Information regarding data security
Generally, the Internet is an insecure medium. Compared with a telephone line, for example, the transfer of data via the Internet can be heard, recorded or even changed more easily by an unauthorized third party. Consequently, sending information by e-mail or via the registration form should essentially be described as insecure.
CILACEC uses technical and organizational security measures in order to protect the data you have made available against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our safety measures are reviewed on an on-going basis in accordance with technological development.
Cookies are used in some areas of the website in order to be able to provide a more individual service to you. Cookies are pieces of identifying information, which a web server can send to your computer in order to identify it for the duration of the visit. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the saving of cookies or adjust your browser settings so that it informs you about the placement of cookies.
